The Wilson Elementary Wrestling program is open to all students in the Wilson School District from kindergarten through 6th grade. The program is developmental and designed to properly prepare your wrestler for success in middle school and high school.

The program is divided into two or three groups based on age, experience, and skill level. In November we begin our practices and training twice a week in the Southern Middle School wrestling room. Interscholastic matches against other programs from Berks County start the first Friday in January and continue through February where your child will be paired with opponents of similar age, weight, and skill level. All wrestlers are required to have wrestling shoes, headgear, and a singlet (or alternate uniform) for matches. These items are available for purchase through the program. A gear exchange program is also available.
